Bobbie J. McCabe

Bobbie J. McCabe, age 71, of Gladstone, Illinois, passed away at 8:15 AM on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Heartland Health Care in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on June 30, 1948, the daughter of George M. and Jeannette (Ricketts) Smith. Bobbie attended school in Biggsville and graduated from Biggsville High School. She married Merle D. McCabe and he preceded her in death on November 12, 2018. For a time, she worked in the Walmart Pharmacy in Burlington, Iowa. Bobbie was a homemaker. 

Bobbie is survived by on daughter Laurie (Dan) McCarthy of Albuquerque, New Mexico and one son, Chad (Sin Young) McCabe, also of Albuquerque. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. 

As were Bobbie's wishes, cremation is being accorded. A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 10:30 AM on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the Carman Cemetery.
