Jane Osborn Obituary

Jane D. Osborn, age 75, passed away at 5:55 pm on Monday April 22, 2019 at OSF St. Mary Medical Center in Galesburg, Illinois. She was born on November 30, 1943 in Dixon, Illinois and is the daughter of Alan and Mina Doris Johnson Bowman. Jane was raised and educated in Dixon where she attended local schools and graduated from Dixon High School with the class of 1961. She then attended some nursing education. Jane married William Carr Osborn on December 16, 1961 in Dixon, Illinois and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2014. Jane enjoyed reading and caring for her many pet dogs. She is survived by her two daughters, Alane Osborn in Florida, and Jenny Osborn (Barb) of Monmouth, Illinois. There is one son, Michael H. Osborn of Jacksonville, Illinois also surviving. There are four grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren also surviving. She is preceded in her death by her parents, husband, and one son, William.
Cremation is being accorded and no service is currently being planned by her family.
