Brandon A. Marsch

Brandon A. Marsch, age 32, of Burlington, Iowa passed away at the University Hospitals in Iowa City, Iowa on Saturday October 9, 2021 at 8:45 am. Brandon was born on November16, 1988 in Trenton, New Jersey and son of Mark and Vickie Holford and the late James Marsch. Brandon was raised in Gladstone, where attended local schools and later graduated from Union High School. Brandon then attended Southeastern Community College where he graduated from with an Associates Degree in Business. Brandon was first employed at Archer Daniels Midland in Burlington, Iowa and then worked in Gladstone, for Consolidated Grain and Barge Company for a time. He then worked in Burlington for Pepsi as a sales representative and then later for Dr. Pepper to the present selling their beverages. Brandon loved to go play golf and be with his friends. He is survived by his mother, Vickie (James) Holford of Gladstone, Illinois and his daughter, Vivienne Kaelynn Marsch of Burlington, Iowa. his sisters, Jennifer Lafary and Danny of Stronghurst, Illinois and Sarah Schulte of Jacksonville, Florida. There also are two nephews surviving, Clay and Kyle. He is preceded in his death by his father, step father, and one sister, Brooke. 

A graveside funeral service is planned on Friday October 15, 2021 at 1:30 pm at the Oquawka Cemetery. His family plans visitation and will be present at Turnbull Funeral Home in Oquawka, Illinois from Noon to 1:30 pm, prior to the graveside service. Interment will be in the Oquawka Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established for his daughter's education.
