Donna L. Carothers-Price

Donna L. Carothers-Price, age 86, of Biggsville, Illinois, passed away at 4:15 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1933 in Biggsville, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Flora (Cumpton) Carothers. She attended schools in Biggsville and was a graduate of Biggsville High School. On June 24, 1951, Donna married Robert L. Price and he preceded her in death on December 31, 1995. Donna worked many years for the Western Illinois Library System in Galesburg, Illinois. She belonged to and enjoyed several bridge and pinochle clubs.

Donna is survived by one son, Paul (Judith Sloan) Price of Austin, Texas, one grandson, Eric Price of Austin, Texas, one granddaughter, Dana (Max) Leaman of Austin, Texas, one great-granddaughter Sloan Leaman, and one great-grandson, Clark Leaman, both of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by one daughter-in-law, Mary Loehman of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Donna is preceded in death by her husband and one son, Robert L. Price, II.

Cremation is being accorded. A memorial service will be held when restrictions from the Covid-19 pandemic are lifted. Inurnment will be in the Biggsville Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oquawka and Stronghurst Food Banks.
