Gloria M. (Holm) Brown

Gloria M. (Holm) Brown, of Monmouth, age 73, passed away at the home of her daughter in Watseka, Illinois on December 28, 2021 at 9:24 pm. Gloria was born on September 12, 1948 in Monmouth, Illinois and is the daughter of Franz and Gertrude Denison Holm. She was raised in Monmouth where she attended local schools and graduated from Monmouth High School. Gloria was homemaker in her home all of her life. She also served several years as a Certified Nurses Assistant at the former Applegate Inn of Monmouth. Her children and family were the most important part of Gloria's life. She is survived by three daughters, Wendy Wilson, Pamela Brown, and Cindy Covarrubias, all of Watseka, Illinois. Seven granddaughters survive, Lakyea Rosenberger of Clarksville, Tennessee; JorDaynah Holm of Canton, Illinois; Alexandra Wilson of Watseka, Illinois, Teana Brown of Orlando, Florida, Acelynn Gamino of Sheldon, Illinois, Amelia and Leigha Covarrubias, both of Watseka, Illinois and seven grandsons, A. J. Inman of Dubuque, Iowa, Kenneth Wilson of Evansville, Indiana , Khristopher Gamino of Watseka, Illinois, Jose Covarrubias, Jr.of Momence, Illinois, Dakota Gamino of Watseka, Illinois, Jayson and Justin Covarrubias both of Watseka, Illinois. There are four great grand children also surviving. Gloria's sister is surviving, Sharon Beebe of Pekin, Illinois. She is preceded in her death by Parents, Franz and Gertrude Holm, her sister, Linda Holm, her brother Marvin Holm, grandson, Steven Wilson, and her long time partner, Sam Followwill. 

A graveside service is planned on Thursday January 6, 2022 at 10:30 am at Monmouth Cemetery. No visitation hours are currently planned but a memorial fund is being established for Western Illinois Animal Rescue.To leave a remembrance or for information please visit www.turnbullfuneralhome.com.
