Heather D. Strange-Dunn

Heather D. Strange-Dunn, age 41, of Galesburg, Illinois, passed away at 10:54 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. She was born August 5, 1982 in Galesburg, Illinois, the daughter of Jerry Sanchez and Mary Strange. She grew up in Monmouth and attended school there. She married Andrew Dunn in Monmouth, Illinois and they later separated. Heather was a stay at home mother. She enjoyed hanging out with her friends, crocheting, watching Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead, and Post Malone. Mostly, she loved being with her children and grandchildren. 

Heather is survived by her mother, Mary Goodwin of Abingdon, IL, her father, Jerry Sanchez of Galesburg, IL, her step-father, Jeffrey Goodwin of Monmouth, IL, one daughter, Ally Dunn of Galesburg, IL, two sons, Joshua Dunn of Virginia, IL and Adyen Green of Galesburg, IL, one brother, Scott Goodwin of Monmouth, IL, step-sister, Mandy Goodwin of Galesburg, IL, step-brother, Corey Goodwin of New Windsor, IL, and her boyfriend of many years, Scott Green of Galesburg, IL. Also surviving are three grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one son, Nolan Dunn.

As were Heathers wishes, cremation is be accorded. No services are currently planned. A memorial is being established to assist Heather's family.
