Kenneth Clark Obituary

Kenneth A. "Kenny" Clark, age 54, of Monmouth, Illinois, passed away at 1:27 AM on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Illinois. He was born October 1, 1964 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Sammy  Eugene and Dolores Margaret (Hoy) Clark. Kenny attended school in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School with the Class of 1982. In 1984, Kenny married Merrilyn C. Stabenow in Monmouth, Illinois and she is surviving. Kenny worked for Dutch Express as a truck driver and previously at Boydon C.O.O.P. as a driver. He enjoyed fishing, driving, and loud rock-n-roll music. Kenny is survived by his wife Merrilyn of Monmouth, Illinois, three sons; Joe Clark of Monmouth, Illinois, Tom (April) Clark of Huffton, Iowa, and Sam Clark of Monmouth, Illinois, one daughter; Melissa Bell of Monmouth, Illinois, his grandchildren; Summer Clark, Autumn Clark, Thomas Clark, Michael Clark, Lilly Clark, and Kamera Staub, two sisters; Carolyn Hanson and Sandy Clark, both of Monmouth, IL, and two brothers; Dennis Clark and Richard (Annette) Clark, both also of Monmouth, Illinois. Also surviving are his cousins Joe Clark and Pamela Brown, nieces Heather Jackson, Kyrie Sprinkle, and Alaura Clark, and nephews John Silcott and Adam Clark. He is preceded in death by his parents and one niece, Mary Clark.

 

A funeral service is planned for 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Monmouth, Illinois. No visitation is planned. Cremation will be accorded after services. A memorial is being established for the family.
