Paul A. Rosenthal

Paul A. Rosenthal, age 65, of Monmouth, Illinois passed away at 10:35 am on Saturday November 14, 2020 at his Monmouth residence. Paul was born on July 24, 1955  in Monmouth, and is the son of Charles E. and Beverly J.Christie Rosenthal. Paul attended local schools and graduated from Joy High School. He married Christy L. McCool on June 16, 1979 in Galesburg, Illinois and she is surviving. Paul began work as an assembler for Maytag Corporation in Galesburg, Illinois. He later was a bundler for Carhart in Galesburg, Illinois and retired this year in 2020. He is a member of First Church of the Open Bible in Galesburg, where he drove the church van. Paul was a caregiver and took care of both of his parents. 
He is survived by his wife Christy Rosenthal of Monmouth, and three sons Daniel (Tammy Burton) Rosenthal of Terre Haute, Indiana, Gregory Rosenthal of Monmouth, Illinois and Timothy (Ana) Rosenthal of Monmouth, Illinois. Paul's brother survives, Mark (Diane) Rosenthal of Posen, IL and his parents Charles and Beverly Rosenthal of Keithsburg, Illinois. Paul is preceded in death by his grandparents, and his uncles. 
Due to Covid 19 restrictions cremation is being accorded. A celebration of his life at First Church of the Open Bible will be announced at a later date.
